Durability success-70 denier nylon with silicone/polyurethane blend coating
Shower cap made of 70 denier ripstop nylon with a .5 oz silicone and polyurethane blend coating.
14 years continuous use. Coating still waterproof. No fraying. The elastic needs to be replaced, the rubber wore out.
The fabric is used in tarps and tents for hard use applications. Outdoor schools, rentals etc. Custom made in small batches or seasonally available in stock. Current color is yellow.

Zip and buckle bottom before staking out
Stake out the four corners. Use a small loop of replaceable cord so wear from rough stake edges will not damage the tent web tie outs.
Stake corners in a perfect square and slightly stretched. This prevents a diamond staking pattern which will cause one corner to be up in the air.
Doors can be tied back and pole inserted after the 4 corners are staked out
Additional tie outs can be staked around the hem and the upper center tie outs can be used to gain headroom in windy or heavy snow conditions.
A green branch can be used instead of a tent pole sometimes.
Two wooden poles can be lasted to hold the tarp up from outside.

NetTarp Redux
An old favorite returns with some new improvements. Used by Utah river runners when the bugs come out.
A flat tarp with noseeum netting around the edges and ends.Floorless makes it lighter and more compact. Less issues with spills while dining underneath too. No zippers to break or fill with sand or salt, just leave one corner un-pegged and lift it to enter.
Two sizes available, sewn to order with several fabric choices. NetTarp5 (10×14′) and theNetTarp2 (8×10′). These now come with a cat curve cut into the hems for tighter set up and line loc3 cord tighteners on the 4 center tie outs to adjust headroom.
Poles available too, but many use hiking poles, trees, or paddles for the uprights.
