From the owner:

I started sewing in 1985 with an off season order for 10 pyramid tarps while working as an instructor for Pacific Crest Outward Bound. Now I have 20 years of experience as an instructor, supervisor, and logistician with various outdoor schools (NEW Rural Resources, Marion County Wilderness Challenge, Adventurous Christians, Passport for Adventure, Peak 7, Gonzaga Prep climbing club) and 35 years of sewing and manufacturing time. I enjoy collaborating with customers to make gear that fits their needs. Emphasis is on simple, multi-use and elegant designs. Most fabric is U.S. made, all labor is done in the USA.

    Mr. Olsen,
I am boy scout leader for a troop near Spokane, WA, and I’m looking for a large nylon dining fly for our occasional car camping trip and summer camp. I purchased a 16′ x 20′ fly for myself many years ago that works really well. Unfortunately, the company that made it went out-of-business. What would be your cost for a fly this size?

    • Hi Mark-

I have several sizes and fabrics Scouts commonly use as dining flys. The lightest 30d fabric FlatTarp5 (9.5×13.5′) is one Troops take to Philmont. A larger one in 70d could be made. Call me for more info. and price 888-292-4534.

I have two older tarps from your company in my Scout troop. They leak water. Can they be re-water proofed?
